Amazon only allows 1000 characters in the comments section, and this book requires more description. So:NOT an ex-library, remainder or bookclub copy. 48 pages, 8 1/2 inches tall. 1st Edition (1935), stated copy #16 of the Limited edition of 155 copies, 150 for sale. Lightly faded black cloth boards w/ faded gilt spine lettering & front board blindstamped skeleton. Illustrated w/ 41 pgs of magnificent woodcuts enlarged to twice their original size. There are three pages of publisher's biographical text at the rear. All edges deckled and all pages are unopened at the top edge - deliberately so, as inner surfaces are all blank. Good, straight & tight, clean & bright hardback w/ no marks, bumps, creases or excessive wear (light rubbing shelfwear; faint moisture swell to bottom rear board at spine, NOT apparent on any pages; light corner wear; light edge dust and age-tan; interior lacks crispness and is uniformly and moderately age-creamed, else clean w/ no marks, spotting or foxing). No dust jacket.
